Aroostook County Republican caucuses scheduled

    The Aroostook County Republican Party has announced their 2008 primary caucus schedule. All registered voters who are enrolled in the republican party are eligible to attend community caucuses at the locations listed. Anyone who has not registered to vote or enrolled in the Republican party is encouraged to do so at their local municipal office before their caucus date or at the caucus one half hour before scheduled start.     The following southern Aroostook towns will caucus on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Houlton fire station: Houlton, Hodgdon, Sherman, Island Falls, Littleton, Monticello, New Limerick, Linneus, Oakfield, Ludlow, Crystal, Dyer Brook, Weston, Smyrna, Cary Plantation, Reed Plantation, Merrill, Orient, Amity, Haynesville, Hammond, Hersey, Moro Plantation, Macwahoc Plantation, Bancroft and Glenwood Plantation.
