Calling all Democrats and unenrolled

To the editor:
   Choosing the best President this year is very important and deserves everyone’s attention. If you are an unenrolled (independent) voter, you still have a chance to participate in the Democratic Caucus on Sunday, Feb. 10.
   In Houlton the meeting place is the Houlton Fire Station at 1 pm. Hopefully, many registered Democrats will show up. Unenrolled (independent) voters should show up a tad early to register then and there as a Democrat. Later you can unenroll if you wish, but you will be able to participate in the caucus that day.
   The Democratic Caucus in Houlton is a friendly environment where each person declares his/her choice
for President by standing with others of like mind. This year there are several outstanding candidates.
    We happen to be Obama supporters. You will be welcome whomever you support. Come out and participate in the caucus process. See you there.
