County GOP caucus set

    Aroostook County Republicans are invited to attend the 2008 Aroostook County Republican Primary Caucuses.     Friday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at the University of Maine at Fort Kent Fox Auditorium will be the meeting place for residents in Eagle Lake, Portage Lake, Van Buren, Stockholm, Madawaska Lake Township, Cross Lake Township, Hamlin, Winterville Plantation, and other St. John Valley communities.
    Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4 p.m. at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Campus Center for residents in Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Washburn, Mapleton, Limestone, Woodland, Easton, Blaine, Ashland, Bridgewater, New Sweden, Westfield, Perham, Castle Hill, Chapman, Wade, Masardis, Connor Township, Caswell, Garfield Plantation, Westmanland, Oxbow Plantation, E Plantation, T11, R4 Township, Nashville Plantation, and TD, R2 Township.
    Registered voters who are enrolled in the Republican Party are eligible to attend Community Caucuses at the above locations. If residents have not yet registered to vote or enrolled in the Republican Party, they are encouraged to do so at their local municipal office before the above caucus date.
