To the editor:
I know of a school principal who I can honestly say really cares about the students. Last year my son told his father and me that he was not going to go to the school play that his class was putting on. We did not argue with him. I told him that he had to pay the price whatever it was when he went to school the next day. We all know how big acting our kids will sound and act until the principal shows up at the door. Mr. Fred Boyd is that principal who my son will not forget.
Mr. Boyd has my respect and my husband’s respect because he was the one person who cared if my son showed up. He didn’t have to come to my home and ask him if he was going to go. Mr. Boyd you have showed Kyle that there are people out there that do care. You always ask how he is doing when you see me that means more than you will ever know.
Kyle will never forget you and he still speaks of the play now and then. I just wanted Mr. Boyd to know that we all appreciated it all.
