PRESQUE ISLE – The Star City Senior Citizens Club met at the V.F.W. Jan. 10, with 27 members and one guest, Cary Miller, from the AAA agency. Donna Devoe said the blessing after which we had a potluck luncheon.
Vice president Donna Devoe opened the service with the Lord’s Prayer, flag salute and one verse of “America.”
The water inspector came and turned off the water to the club because of E-Coli. So the club is closed until further notice.
The voting of officers will be when we get to come back. The meeting was adjourned.
Birthdays for January include Paul Wilson (Jan. 2), Charlie Brown (Jan. 8) and Merle McPherson (Jan. 13).
