McGuire promoted

    PRESQUE ISLE —The local accounting firm of Chester M. Kearney has announced the promotion of its three senior staff accountants: Barbara McGuire of Houlton, Mary Williams of Presque Isle and Timothy Poitras of Caribou to the position of manager.
    This level of position requires a minimum of five years experience in public accounting, technical proficiency and supervisory skills.
    McGuire works at the Houlton branch office. She holds her B.A. in Accounting from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of CPAs and is currently enrolled in the master’s degree tax program at Washington School of Law.
    McGuire resides in Houlton with her husband Brian and their two children, Josh and Jenna.
