MARS HILL – Albert M. White, 87, died Thursday night February 7, 2008 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Blaine on August 31, 1920, the son of Sidney and Martha (Kinney) White. He owned and operated a farm for many years, and worked at McCains Foods. Albert loved spending time with family, was a collector, and was an avid NASCAR and Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Harriet (Britton) White of Mars Hill; two sons, Albert Jr. and his companion Julie of Mars Hill, Terry and his wife Paula of Easton; four daughters, Sandra Hawksley and her husband Dick of Presque Isle, Judy Doak of Mars Hill, Cindy Butts and her husband John of Hampden, Debbie Holmes and her husband Galen of Blaine; 11 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Ronnie in 1965 and a son-in-law Bob Doak.
A private graveside service will held in the month of May at Kings Grove Cemetery, Mars Hill with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
