Thursday, Jan. 31
7:30 a.m. Route 1 – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Caller reported vehicles off the road by the South Main Street intersection due to slippery roads.     Action – An officer checked the area, and requested that the area be sanded, as well as seeing that a tow truck was called to pull a vehicle out of the snowbank.
10:30 a.m. Main Street – Suspicious Activity – Female caller reported finding bent coat hangers at a local apartment complex and thought they might have been used to unlock car doors. She also noted that her apartment door had been pried on, but no entry was made. She also noted that she has lost gasoline from her vehicle recently and would like an officer to check the area at night.
    Action – An officer agreed to patrol through the area at night and advised the female caller to let the police department know if she hears anything else.
Friday, Feb. 1
11:50 a.m. Main Street – Trespassing – Caller from a local restaurant reported a male subject sleeping in their dining room. Staff had already asked him to leave, but he had not.
    Action – An officer spoke with the male subject, and called a taxi to take him home.
11:48 a.m. Access Highway – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Male caller reported being followed by a female subject, who was talking on the phone and driving too close to him.
    Action – An officer stopped the vehicle and issued a summons to the female subject.
12:57 p.m. Bennett Drive – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Male caller reported being followed by a female subject, who he had apparently angered by beating her to the drive through.
    Action – An officer checked the area, but could not locate the vehicle.
Saturday, Feb. 2
8:25 a.m. Bennett Drive – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Caller from a local restaurant advised that a male subject in a green pickup with three kids inside had been verbally abusive to the waitress at the drive through, and that the children were not wearing seatbelts, and that the male subject left spinning his tires and then doing doughnuts.
    Action – An officer checked for the vehicle, but was unable to locate it.
12:05 p.m. Access Highway – Theft – Male caller reported sending $400 to a male subject in Kefasang Kingston Jamaica and was expecting to get $5,000 in return, but had not received the money.
    Action – An officer explained to the male caller that he had been scammed and that the money was gone.
Sunday, Feb. 3
9:46 p.m. Herschel Street – Harassment by Phone – Male caller reported a female subject was harassing him again and would like it to stop.
    Action – An officer spoke with the female subject who said that although the male caller had filed nine complaints against her he still kept contact with her and had been to her apartment earlier in the week. The officer spoke with the male caller and advised him to seek a protection order.
Monday, Feb. 4
4:15 p.m. Hillcrest Avenue – Snow Complaint – Male caller advised that a male subject who lives across the street is plowing snow into his driveway.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
12:15 a.m. Caribou Street – Criminal Trespassing – Female caller reported that a male subject was at her residence causing trouble and she would like him removed.
    Action – An officer spoke with the female caller as well as the male subject who was living at the female caller’s residence. The officer advised that all of the parties involved need to get along, or someone needs to move out.
12:26 a.m. Lyndon Street – Assist Public – Male caller reported that he pulled into a local business’ parking lot to get a soda from the machine and found it open.
    Action – An officer checked the machine and found that it was most likely just left open, as money was still inside it. The officer secured the machine, and the business was notified to check the machine the next day.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
8:05 a.m. Route 1 – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Caller reported a motor vehicle off the road near a local business.
    Action – An officer checked the area and found that there was not damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed back onto the road.
