FORT KENT, Maine – The Aroostook League Championship classical cross country ski race featured a Caribou and Presque Isle first- and second-place finish last Thursday as the County teams competed at 10th Mountain’s trails. Viking Joey Bard finished in first in 15:54, and Wildcat Corey Park clocked into second at 16:35.

Caribou had the low score of 20 points followed by Fort Kent in second and Presque Isle in third. Fort Fairfield placed fifth and Central Aroostook took sixth after counting the team scores.
Fort Fairfield senior Hillary McNamee topped the girls’ ski competition with a time of 19:36. Caribou’s Laura Collins crossed at second in 21:47.
