The Dawn F. Barnes Elementary School in Caswell celebrated a carnival week with several activities, including the older male and female students changing their roles and dress for the day. Janet Gagnon, who works at Key Bank in Caribou was jailed Friday after being arrested by the Keystone Kops as part of the Caribou Winter Carnival fun. Her charges involved “having an HR issue.”

The Caribou carnival included a father-daughter dance, left and a chocolate festival where one could fish for chocolate.

Approximately $900 was raised for Kiwanis’ activities and programs, according to club officials. About 100 people were “arrested” during the annual Caribou Winter Carnival event.
