PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle / University of Maine at Fort Kent Upward Bound Program is now recruiting a new group of freshmen and sophomore students from all 16 Aroostook County high schools. Upward Bound is a college preparatory program that assists high school students to become better prepared for college. Academic year services include academic advising, tutoring, college visits and cultural events.
The summer component includes a three-week residential experience for freshman and a six-week residential stay for upperclassmen on the UM-Presque Isle campus, where students live in a college residence hall and participate in academic and elective classes, as well as an adventure trip and work experience program.
