Wednesday, Feb. 20

9:25 p.m. Washburn Street – Theft – Male caller reported that someone had come into his apartment and taken a very valuable talking Easter bunny.     Action – An officer spoke with the male caller and advised that the department would be on the lookout for a $20 white Easter Bunny with blue ears that talks when squeezed.

Thursday, Feb. 21

8:50 a.m. Washburn Street – Criminal Mischief – Female caller advised that her car had been damaged by someone trying to pry the door open. The female caller thought it may have been done by a male subject who has threatened her in the past.
    Action – An officer advised that threatening alone was not proof that the male subject had done anything.

Friday, Feb. 22

10:25 a.m. Main Street – Criminal Threatening – Male caller reported that a male subject had threatened to kill him over a civil issue.
    Action – An officer advised the male caller to seek a protective order. An officer also spoke with the male subject and advised him to cease contact with the male caller.
1:45 p.m. Sweden Street – Theft – Caller reported a female subject in the store shoplifting.
    Action – The female subject was given a summons for shoplifting $20 worth of markers, coloring pencils and children’s items.
5:15 p.m. Mitchell Road – 9-1-1 Hang-Up – A 9-1-1 hang-up was received which sounded like a child playing with the phone.
    Action – An officer checked and found that the call had come from a child playing with the phone.

Saturday, Feb. 23

7:35 a.m. Main Street – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the road on Main Street with no one around.
    Action – An officer spoke with the local business the vehicle belonged to and found that the vehicle had stalled and a local towing service was on the way to get the vehicle. An officer stood by to provide traffic control until the towing service arrived.

Sunday, Feb. 24

2:20 p.m. Caribou Street – Criminal Trespassing – Female came in to the station to report that her daughter had a male subject at her residence who she had told not to be there.
    Action – An officer issued a written warning to the male subject to not return to the female’s residence.

Monday, Feb. 25

3:15 a.m. Jacobs Avenue – Civil – Female caller said her ex-boyfriend was moving out and he had moved his dresser out of the apartment and now wants to move it back in, because he has no way to move it. The female caller did not want the dresser back in her apartment.
    Action – An officer spoke with the male subject, who understood that he was not to move the dresser back in. He also indicated that he may have a few other items inside, such as clothing. The officer spoke with the female caller and advised her that if she found any of his belongings inside she could not simply throw them out or she could be held accountable for them.
12:15 p.m. West Gate Road – Violation of Protection Order – Caller reported that a male subject drove out to the trailer of a female who has a protection order against him and spun his tires.
    Action – An officer checked with the District Attorney and found that this was a violation. An officer warned the male subject.
1:18 p.m. Route 161 Lost Property – Female caller reported losing her wallet and credit cards while snowmobiling on ITS 81 and wondered if anyone had turned it in.
    Action – An officer advised that it hadn’t turned up yet, but she would be contacted if someone turned it in to the station.
7:05 p.m. Charles Street – Domestic – Male caller said that he was at his ex-wife’s house and his sons were fighting. One of the sons was leaving with him, but they would not give him his laptop for school.
    Action – An officer spoke with the male caller’s ex-wife who said she would drop the laptop off at the school.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

9:56 p.m. Main Street – Harassment by Phone – Male caller reported that he called his child’s mother and now she keeps calling him, and he would like her to stop.
    Action – An officer spoke with the female who said that the male caller had called her a couple times and hung up, and that she was just trying to call him back. The female also advised that she was fine with not calling him anymore.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

11:08 p.m. Washburn Road – Suspicious Person – Female caller reported seeing a male wearing a light colored jacket standing in the middle of the Washburn Road.
    Action – An officer checked the area, but didn’t locate anyone matching that description.
11:24 p.m. Bennett Drive – Theft – Female caller from a local business reported that she had used the bathroom and when she came out there was some liquor missing. The female caller advised that a male subject and two younger girls had been there operating a red Jeep with a black roof.
    Action – An officer checked the store’s video, but was unable to tell if anything had been taken or not.
