Hoops and Jump Rope for Hearts

GOOD FOR THE HEART — On March 14, 32 students and six adult volunteers met as part of the Mill Pond After School Program to participate in Hoops and Jump Rope for Hearts. Students collected pledges and donations for the American Heart Association and a total of $885 has been collected for this worthy cause.

IN MEMORY OF — Relatives of Blanche E. Jamison, who died as a result of heart problems, participated as a family in the Hoops and Jump Rope for Hearts held March 14 at Mill Pond School. Darlene Theriault was joined by her two children, Andrew and Jamiee, and her niece, Alica Rockwell as a tribute to their memory of the great-grandmother and grandmother.
