CHOCOLATE FEST — Culinary Arts students at Region Two School of Applied Technology are planning and testing creations for their “Chocolate Fest 08” on Thursday, March 27. More than 20 delectable desserts will be on display prepared by the students. The event will be held at Region Two on Bird Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Each ticket will allow the presenter to select five chocolate desserts to eat on site or get packed to go. Beverages will be provided. This event is sponsored by Region Two Service Learning and proceeds will benefit the Houlton Humane Society. Tickets may be purchased from any Culinary Arts students, Cathy at the Varney Agency, Toot Sweet Bakery at 532-0782, Grammy’s Restaurant, or by calling Region Two office at 532-9541. Tickets for the event are $5 per person and promises to be a sweet deal.
