Doak, Gerald B., 96, Easton, April 21, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. Relatives and friends may call from noon until the time of the service. Interment will in Estes Park Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
Easton – Gerald B. Doak, 96, went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning, April 21, 2008. He was born in Easton on February 22, 1912, the son of Dudley and Mable (Gray) Doak. A life long resident of Easton, Gerald worked for area farmers and then for several years at the Valshing Processing Plant before retiring.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his only brother, Merlin Doak. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 73 years, Rena (Fuller) Doak. In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by a sister-in-law, Edith Fuller, a nephew, Wendell Fuller, several nieces and grand nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by a special grand nephew and family, David, Tammy, Samantha and Luke Fuller.
Gerald always had a smile on his face and especially loved a good joke. He and Rena were not only husband and wife, but also best friends who truly enjoyed doing everything together.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St. Presque Isle, with the Rev Gregg Jackson officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Estes Park Cemetery later in the spring.
