Teague Park fourth grade teacher Cindy McDuffie show a big heart as she takes a whipped cream pie in the face from student Destinee Berz. The pie in the face event was part of the Jump Rope for Heart program students took part in raising money for the American Heart Association while learning the benefits of eating healthy and exercising. Students raising the most money in pledges earned the right to adorn a staff member with the pies.
Lakeisha St. John was the lucky winner of a new girl’s bike when her name was drawn Friday afternoon at Teague Park School. Students who raised at least $50 in pledges were eligible to have their name entered into the new bicycle drawing.
Emma Belyea managed a direct hit on her mark, Teague Park French teacher, Stacy Michaud, as she took her turn at the whipped cream pie in your face event.
Sweet satisfaction was the result of Charli Bergin aiming a whipped cream pie directly in the face of Teague Park custodian, Helston Jackson.
Axexis Guillemette,below, got the sweet chance to throw a pie into the face of Teague Park physical education teacher, Steve Austin. Austin was also blindsided by two other pies courtesy of principal Lois Brewer and custodian Helston Jackson.
Joseph Maile was all smiles as he claimed his new bike during the Jump rope for Heart events, Friday afternoon at Teague Park Elementary School.
Student Jill Courchene couldn’t refrain from laughing after hitting teacher Debbie Forbes with a whipped cream pie. Students who raised the most money in pledges during the Jump Rope for Heart Program earned the right to be a pie thrower.
Even Teague Park Principal Lois Brewer wasn’t safe from the pie assault as student Marissa Keaton hit her mark perfectly, Friday afternoon. The event was the finale of the Jump Rope for Heart program sponsored by the American Heart Association.
