Caribou Rotarian Dr. Dan Jandreau recently presented Frank McElwain, superintendent of Caribou schools, with a check for $10,000 on behalf of the Caribou Rotary Club.
The funds are designated to assist with the cost of constructing new tennis courts at Caribou High School. Others present during the monetary presentation are, from left: Caribou High School sophomore and tennis team member, Melissa Nadeau, Jandreau, Sam Collins, Rotarian and member of the tennis court committee; Caribou High School Athletic Director Dave Wakana, McElwain and Franz Zehentner, a senior exchange student from Austria, also a member of the CHS tennis team. To date, the tennis fund has reached $115,000.
