    The course has greened up well in the last week and the maintenance crew has been working hard to ensure it is in excellent playing condition. As the sun starts to show itself more often, make sure to take advantage of the beautiful weather.
Coming up this weekend at VaJoWa is the “Death to the White Birch Tree” Scramble that will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. The event is a three-person scramble and will feature both gross and net winners. The gross and net winners will play off to see who will get to cut down the tree in front of the No. 1 green. The winning team can also opt to save the tree for another year. The cost per player is $45 and includes 18 holes with a cart, net and gross prizes, pin prizes and skins. The cost for a member is $10 plus the applicable cart fees.
On Saturday, June 14, VaJoWa will be hosting the Anah Temple Anah Patrol Scramble. This is a charity event so come out and help us support Shriners Hospitals for children. The event is an 18-hole, four-man scramble that will be handicapped. The cost per team is $200 and includes the scramble, prizes, plus unlimited golf afterwards.
