On Saturday, VaJoWa hosted the Anah Temple Anah Patrol Scramble to benefit Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.

We had a day of beautiful weather and golfing while helping to raise a significant amount of money for a great cause. I would like to thank everyone who came out to play and made this event a great success.
The winning first gross team was Adrian Brown, Josh McGuire, Ian Gervais and Dylan Flewelling, while the team of Tim Dagget, Eric Quint, Mark Elwell and Marty Arbo won first net.
The golf course continues to be in better shape with each passing week. The blackflies have almost all left and I’m sure most of us will not miss them at all. With warm weather ahead in the forecast, make sure to get outside and enjoy a relaxing round of golf.
On Saturday, June 28, VaJoWa will host an ABC player scramble. The teams will be made the morning of the event by drawing from a hat. The cost is $15 for members and $45 for non-members. Cash prizes will be paid out to the top teams.
The winners of the “Death to the White Birch Tree” Scramble have chosen to save the tree in front of the number one green. The next “Death to the White Birch Tree” Scramble will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 9 a.m.
The winners will cut the tree down or have the option to save it again.
