Scores of senior students rode through the city in decorated vehicles, honking horns, yelling and waving to passersby, as part of the annual ritual of graduation.

The Caribou High School chapter of Future Farmers of America hosted young guests from Teague Park Elementary School recently. The third-graders toured a giant plant cell, created by some of the FFA members, visited with some pigs and a sheep then were treated to something every farmer enjoys, homemade french fries and ice cream, both made on site by FFA members.
Getting ready to enjoy the summer, Chance Bragon, age 5, below, was all settled in for a little fishing as Dad, Spencer gives some advise during the recent children’s fishing derby held at the wildlife refuge.

Collins Pond, left, made a scenic background for the children on the annual “Trek Across Caribou” held on Saturday, June 7. Many of the young cyclists were wearing helmets they had received courtesy of the Caribou Rotary Club and the Caribou Department of Parks and Recreation.
