Jessica Laplante, the daughter of Cathy and George Laplante of Van Buren is the 2008 Valedictorian of Van Buren District Secondary School.
Laplante will be attending Bowdoin College in Brunswick, this fall, majoring in biology with a pre-med concentration.
Taylor Parent, the daughter of Karla and Lyn Michaud of Van Buren and Tim Parent of Hamlin has been named Honor Essayist for the 2008 graduating class of Van Buren District Secondary School.
This fall, Parent will be attending Assumption College in Boston, majoring in medical biology.
Stephanie Corriveau, the daughter of Brenda and Steve Corriveau of Van Buren, has been named Salutatorian of the 2008 graduating class at Van Buren District Secondary School. Corriveau plans to major in biology/pre-med upon entering college this fall.
