The Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club held its semi-annual potluck supper on Sunday, June 1. The buffet style affair held at the range/club house featured hors d'oeuvres, vegetables, salads, entrees to desserts.

A meeting followed the dinner and the winners of the Winter Shoot were announced and prizes were presented in the following categories: Slow, Timed and Rapid Fire, first, Trueman Jones; second, Tom Brown and third, John Armour; Center Fire, first, Jones; second, Eric Richards and third, Brown; 22 Rim Fire Rifle, first, Paul Harrison; second, Curtis Harrison and third, Jones.
The final item on the agenda was the election of the following officers for the upcoming year: Tom Brown, president; Trueman Jones, vice-president; Paul Harrison, secretary/treasurer; Curtis Harrison, range officer and Tim Glossinger, publicity director.
The evening ended with recreational target shooting.
