DETROIT, MICHIGAN and CONNOR, MAINE – Joanna Martha St. Peter, 40, died unexpectedly March 4th, 2008, in Detroit, Michigan. She was born September 7th, 1967, the daughter of Walter and Lillian Beryl (Lewis) St. Peter.
Joanna was predeceased by her father Walter, her mother Lillian and her brother Erwin. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Mattea St. Peter, her granddaughter Lilliana, her son, Geridan St. Peter and her partner Doug Tomlinson all of Detroit, Michigan; her brothers Joseph St. Peter of Detroit, Walter St. Peter of Caribou; her sisters Gail LaPointe of Caribou and Lisa Grindle of Brewer; her friend Jennifer St. Peter and family of Princeton, Maine; Levi St. Peter of Detroit Michigan and the McAtee family of Connor. To her best friend of 35 years, Christine Albert Patton, she is irreplaceable.
Joanna will be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to make people forget their troubles and laugh. Her favorite hobbies were growing and caring for houseplants and reading books. Joanna loved her children and would want them to live their lives to the fullest, realize their dreams and be happy. She would want everyone to remember her with laughter and smiles. Her irrepressible spirit will be with us always.
