Little League names 2008 All-Stars

    CARIBOU – The Caribou Little League All-Star games will take place on Saturday, July 12 at the Hilltop Field. The 9- and 10-year-old game will begin at 10 a.m. with the 11- and 12-year-old matchup following. A coaches’ game will follow.
    The 9- and 10-year-old American Division All-Stars are, from the Knights of Columbus, Jillian Flynn, Devin Martin and Connor Plourde; from the North Stars, Gunnar Bondeson and Kevin Bither; from Key Bank, Nicholas Frost and Paul Hanson; from Sleepers, Justin Ouellette, Mason Huck and Michael Hunter; from Maine Bag, Ricky Sheldon; and, from the Woodland Tigers, Molly Cummings. The team is managed by Carl Flynn and coached by Scott Hunter and Darren Barnes.
    The 9- and 10-year-old National Division All-Stars are, from Savings Bank of Maine, Caleb Willett and Brayden Burby; from the Woodland Eagles, Hunter Milliard and Corey Moir; from the Police, Tyler Dombroski and Reece McDougal; from S.W. Collins, Donovan Savage and Gabriel Massey; from Shop n’ Save, Axios Gerakaris, Dustin Demerchant and Colton Conley; and, from VFW, Nolan Powers. The team is managed by Ghent Holdsworth and coached by Corey Willett and Shawn Savage.

    The 11- and 12-year-old American Division All-Stars are, from the Knights of Columbus, Taylor Thibodeau; from the North Stars, Jordyn Doucette and Jacob Bither; from Key Bank, Dustin Bouchard, Matthew Frost, Nolan McDuffie and Kaleb Corriveau; from Sleepers, Sara Huston and Breen Blackstone; from Maine Bag, Michael Selander and Cody Herbert; and, from the Woodland Tigers, Matthew Manter. The team is managed by Art Selander and coached by Jack Herbert and Frank Frost.
    The 11- and 12-year-old National Division All-Stars are, from Savings Bank of Maine, Nicholas Matlock; from the Woodland Eagles, Matthew Milliard; from the Police, Michael Boone; from S.W. Collins, Rebecca McDougal, Matthew Curry and Dayne Savage; from Shop n’ Save, Kameron Manter, Adam Collins, Jared Keaton and Alex Losieniecki; and, from VFW, Dylan Berkoski and Sean Sadler. The team is managed by Scott Curry and coached by Art Berkoski and Pete Milliard.
