It was a beautiful Fourth of July weekend here at VaJoWa. The winner of our annual Flag Day tournament was Mark Elwell.
A close second place went to Sally Cyr, with Bev Osborn coming in third. Thank you to everyone who participated to make this event a great success.
On July 19, VaJoWa will host the Second Death to the White Birch Tree Scramble. The cost is $15 for members and $45 for guests. Teams will be chosen through a random draw. Once again the winning team will get to cut the tree down in front of number one green or choose to save it.
The moonlight golf tournament will be held on July 25 at 9 p.m. The cost for the event is $30 that will include the moonlight golf materials, golf with a cart and prizes. The event will be a four-player, nine-hole scramble.
