Wrestling at civic center on Saturday

    The audience will be “thunderstruck” on Saturday, July 12 at the John Millar Civic Center in Houlton when Pyro Championship Wrestling comes to town.
    Founded in Caribou, PCW is becoming more popular since its inception in September of 2006. The PCW features a variety of wrestlers, including several from Caribou, Presque Isle, Easton and Washburn.
    According to the PCW Web site, the objective of the organization is to “revolutionize the wrestling business with creative innovation and dynamic new ideas in management and operations.”
    The PCW held its first show at the Aroostook Centre Mall last November and now will move its venue to the civic center in the Shiretown with “Thunderstruck” with doors opening at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
    The main event will feature a singles heavyweight championship match between Bullmoose Calhoun versus Phoenix, as well as Toxic Television Title Tournament between Christian Starr, Corvyn, Cross, Devian, Geist, Johnny Whiplash, Kial Dionne and Sage.
    Finishing the night will be a no disqualification championship match between Wolf Magnum and Morpheus.
