    SHERMAN – Janice M. Blake, 71, died July 17, 2008, at her home. She was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Patten, the daughter of Clive and Cecelia (Shorette) Chamberlain.
    She was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons, Michael and Susan Blake of Glenburn, Derek and Wilma Blake of Tennessee, Patrick Blake of East Millinocket and Bryan Blake of Sherman; one daughter, Linda and Kevin Osnoe of Sherman; four grandchildren, Rodney, Steven, Keven and Jorden; two sisters, Judy and Ken Sleeper of Auburn and Penny Page of Sanford; one brother, Frederick and Phyllis Chamberlain of Hampton, Va.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Rodney; and two brothers, Paul and Dwight.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Benedicta, with Father Joel Cyr celebrating. Interment will be in Stacyville.
