Millard Gerald “Zeke” Collins

    WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Millard Gerald "Zeke" Collins died peacefully Saturday, July 19, 2008, at home in Winston-Salem, N.C. surrounded by his family. Zeke was born in N. Amity, Maine, to Gerald T. and Rose Simpson Collins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Chester, Gary, and Gene Raymond. He is survived by his former wife and friend, Annette; daughters, Patricia, and Michele of the home; Sherry of Maine; by a son, Gerald J. of Granville, N.Y.; his brother, Wayne (Debbie) and Cody of Le Canto, Fla.; his grandsons, Ezekiel (Candace) of Houlton, Maine; Levi of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Jacob and Kaedon. He also leaves his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Not to be forgotten, he leaves behind many lifelong friends in Meriden.
    The family wishes to thank the many caregivers of Hospice who were such a comfort to him and to us in his final months. Burial will be in N. Amity, Maine on Aug. 15th at the Estabrook Cemetery.
