Peter Edgecomb of Caribou, left, and Bernard Ayotte, Caswell, recently presented the Aroostook County branch office of the American Red Cross, Pine Tree Chapter volunteers with a Legislative Sentiment in recognition for their outstanding work and dedication in helping the victims of the May 2008 flood. Michael Brown II, right, disaster coordinator accepted the sentiment on behalf of the Red Cross volunteers. Joyce Knorr, Aroostook County branch manager, hosted the event. It was also related that, “We the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the 123rd Legislature join in extending our congratulations and thank them for their selfless dedication.”
