Animal refuge holds open house events

    There will be an open house at the A. E. Howell Wildlife Conservation Center located at 101 Lycette Road, Amity.
    The Girl Scouts and volunteers will be providing free tours for the public, rain or shine, Aug 16, Sept. 6 and Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.     Come see all the animals! Admission is free, but donations will be gladly accepted, with proceeds going to rehabilitate animals, provide food and housing. For more information, please call Art Howell at  532-6880.
