Timothy Bossie, 22, of Houlton, has been accepted to the New England College of Optometry in Boston.
Bossie, a 2004 graduate of Houlton High School and 2008 graduate of the University of Maine, will be attending the school starting in September.
While at the University of Maine, Bossie received a BS in Biology, with a concentration in pre-optometry, cum laude. As a student at the university, Bossie also was inducted into the Senior Skulls, an honor society which was formed in 1906 to formally reward and promote outstanding leadership in college seniors.
Bossie was also a Phi Kappa Sigma brother, treasurer of the Health Professions club, and was involved with MEDLIFE.
Bossie is currently working with an optometrist in the Bangor area for the summer, and will be starting school in Boston during the first week of September. He is the son of Mark and Dawn Bossie.
