White receives Rotary’s ‘President’s Award’

    HOULTON — Scott White, owner of Aroostook Auto Glass of Houlton, was presented with the Annual “Presidents Award” for his service to the club over the past year. The presentation was made at the club’s annual meeting by outgoing President Dana Delano.

    SERVICE ABOVE SELF — Houlton Rotary Club President Dana Delano presents member Scott White with the club’s “President’s Award” for going above and beyond the club’s motto “Service Above Self.”
    “Scott has exemplified the Rotary motto, Service above Self, over the past year, ” said Delano. “As a newer member to Rotary, he quickly became active in our annual auction, helping to solidify some of our ‘major’ auction items, as well as assisting with our ongoing Rotary Youth Exchange Program. Scott is an individual who is willing to give of his time and talents for the betterment of his community.  
    “He and his wife, Pam, are a community minded family for which we are grateful,” he said.
    The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise in all communities.
