NEW BEGINNING — The Magic Wand Car Wash, shown here, is a new expansion off of Steve Anderson’s lawn care business. The business stands at 6 Main Street in Patten, in a garage originally built in 1936 as a service station.
The Magic Wand Car Wash, located at 6 Main Street in Patten, offers a bay large enough to accommodate pick-up trucks, SUVs, cars, and even boats. The business also offers full service washes on Tuesday and Wednesdays, as well as auto detailing by appointment.
The garage, which was originally established in 1936 was used as a gas station, used car dealership, auto body shop and mechanic shop.
Mike’s Barber Shop, which previously has 20 years of experience in the area, will take advantage of the newly renovated building by moving in to the adjacent space, and extra storage space in the building is also available for rent.

Anderson’ lawn care service also stores it’s tractor, used for snow removal, at this location. Cutting Edge also provides many kinds of landscaping and lawn care services, along with snow removal and camp or home maintenance.
The expanded business plans to celebrate their grand opening on August 1, starting at 9 a.m. and going into the early evening.
