    PRESQUE ISLE – The following cases were among those heard in District Court in Presque Isle during the month of May, 2008:
    Joe M. Abbott, 42, Wicklow, N.B.: operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.
    Aroostook Beverage Co., Presque Isle: violating fuel tax licensing or reporting, $250 fine.     Kyla B. Ayotte, 19, Van Buren: minor possessing liquor, $200 fine.
    Edward J. Battelli, 42, Mars Hill: operating vehicle without license, $200 fine; attaching false plates, $100 fine.
    Christopher D. Beaman, 21, Ashland: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.
    Terrance M. Bubar, 27, Presque Isle: operating while license suspended or revoked–prior, $750 fine; two counts violating condition of release, $250 fine (first), $400 fine and 24 hours in jail (second).
    Chad D. Burbee, 25, Presque Isle: domestic violence assault, $300 fine, 60 days in jail with all but 48 hours suspended, two years’ probation; sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
    Robbie Burby Jr., 31, Presque Isle: operating vehicle while license suspended or revoked – prior, dismissed.
    Colin Campbell, 33, Fort Fairfield: allowing dog to be at large, $100 fine.
    Michael J. Cooper, 19, Blaine: violating protective order, $250 fine; violating condition of release, $250 fine.
    Nelson Corriveau, 51, Caribou: operating snowmobile left of center, $100 fine.
    Ronald I. Crawford IV, 19, Acton: operating unregistered snowmobile, $100 fine.
    Tyler Dennett, 26, Mapleton: assault, $300 fine, seven days in jail; failing to comply with order, $250 fine; violating condition of release, $250 fine, 48 hours in jail.
    Jason A. Depeau, 30, Mars Hill: operating under the influence (OUI), $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, 90-day license suspension.
    Timothy Dewitt, 19, Fort Fairfield: assault, $500 fine; two counts violating condition of release, $250 fine each; failing to operating snowmobile at prudent speed, $250 fine.
    Leo Doyle, 38, Ashland: domestic violence assault, $300 fine.
    Kathryn R. Ellison, 36, Woodland: two counts theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, five days in jail (each), $49.98 restitution (first).
    Erin Farley, 24, Washburn: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, filed at no cost.
    Karla J. Flanders, 39, Mars Hill: assault, $300 fine, 60 days in jail with all but 48 hours suspended, one year probation.
    Alexander Ambrose Francis, 25, Eskasoni, Canada: operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
    Michael Gallagher, 28, Portland: failure to operate snowmobile at prudent speed, $100 fine.
