WHS class of ‘68 reunites

    Classmates from Washburn High School’s Class of 1968 recently held their 40th reunion at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center.

Members of the Class 1968 at Washburn High School recently celebrated their 40th class reunion at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center. In attendance were, from left, front row: Vera (Bragg) Longley, Verna (Bragg) Espling, Linda (Martin) Vallincourt, Velma (Holmes) Fortin, Brenda (Conley) Cameron and Donna (Hartsgrove) Markie. Second row: Silvia (Blackstone) Fox, Lynn (Flewelling) Umphrey, Brenda (Paradis) Devoe, Lanita White, Sandy Woodman, Cindy (Bell) Eldredge and  Larina (Stetson) Anderson. Third row: Ashley Curtis, Sonny Ward, Mike Wilcox, Dave Espling, Mark Law, Kathy (Bragg) Mills, Linda (Gagnon) Skidgel and Dottie (Farley) Carmichael. Fourth row: Loren Johnson, Ronnie Curtis, Doug Flanagin, Sheldon Wilcox, Arlene (Philbrook) Belanger, Doug Drost, Martha (Bull) Crouse and Shirley (Brissette) Goggins.

    Together, the group enjoyed dining, a lot of reminiscing and were entertained by a vocal selection provided by Dottie Carmichael.
    Sonny Ward of Mississippi and Lanita White of Missouri, were recognized by their classmates for having traveled the farthest to attend the reunion.
    Also recognized were Dave Espling, for having the most children and Linda Vallincourt for claiming the most grandchildren.
