Houlton – Edna F. (King) Levesque, 89, died Aug. 19, 2008, at a local healthcare facility. She was born November 27, 1918, at Windsor, NB, the daughter of Robert John and Florence Mae (Dougherty) Brewster.
Edna worked as a homemaker for Diocesan Human Relations Services, Inc. for many years. She is survived by her grandchildren, Karen, Kelly and Kevin King; two great- grandchildren, Desiree and Dynel; daughter-in-law, Barbara King; two brothers, Wilbur and Vermon; two sisters, Mildred and Wilma; special sister-in-law, Ella Welton; special friend, Jane Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of 32 years, Perley King; her second husband of 5 years, Al Levesque; her son, Cecil King; and siblings, Florence, Clara, Gordon, Myles, Harold, George, Clarence, Eearnest, Bill and Cecil.
Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Saturday 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Tuttle as officiate. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Edna’s memory to the charity of one’s choice, c\o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, 04730.
