Gallery looking for exhibits

    HOULTON — The Blue Moon Gallery at SACAP (Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts Project) in downtown Houlton is accepting applications from artists for exhibits for 2009.     Submissions can include showings of an individual artist’s work, or a group of artists can collaborate to produce a show. The acceptance of applications will be based on quality of artwork, and the interest or relevance of the exhibit idea to the community.     The Blue Moon Gallery provides opportunities to the southern Aroostook community to experience art in many forms by producing public exhibits at its location at 66 Main Street, Houlton. The Blue Moon Gallery is a project of the non-profit Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts Project.
