OSCAR NELDER, otherwise known as Voscar the Maine Photographer, is September’s artist of the month at The Aroostook Medical Center. A well-known local photographer, he spent a number of years as a reporter and photographer with the Bangor Daily News and as news editor for WAGM-TV and Radio.
His photography has been published nationally in books, magazines, calendars, textbooks, and advertisements. TAMC’s artist of the month program features a different local artist each month of the year. Artwork is displayed on an art wall located just inside the Pinkham Entrance at A.R.
