Through the efforts of Past Department of Maine Auxiliary President Nicky Weatherby and Past National Vice Commander/Past Department of Maine State Commander Lloyd Woods, three hospice rooms and a family room have been established at the Togus Veterans’ Facility in Augusta. The goal was to be able to create one room but as a result of generous contributions, three patient rooms plus a family room were completely furnished. Pleasantly decorated, each of the rooms allow for a restful atmosphere for both Togus patients and their families. Standing in the doorway of one of the completed rooms is Lloyd Woods.
