PRESQUE ISLE – Momentum Aroostook will kick off its series of fall events with a Wine Tasting Social on Friday, Sept. 26, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Red Room of the Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle. The event will give participants an opportunity to learn about the different flavors, aromas and characteristics of wine. During the fun and informative evening, participants will sample four different wine varietals, learn how to taste wines and how to pair wine with food, all while mixing with other young professionals. A cash bar will be available and free appetizers will be available for all.
Momentum Aroostook is a group of highly-motivated Aroostook County young people between the ages of 20 and 40, connecting for career, social and community betterment. Momentum Aroostook strives to provide opportunities for networking, learning and fun with those who choose to live in Aroostook County but still want to enjoy some of the social and professional perks of bigger-city living.
