Sunday Spud results

    Matt Reynolds rode his 99 car to the victory in the street stock division at Spud Speedway on Sunday. The Presque Isle driver beat out Dana York and Mark York, both of Fort Fairfield, for the win.     In the Northern Lights A event, Charles Michaud of Grand Falls, New Brunswick took the checkered flag, with Lewis Batchelder of Dixmont second and Keith Thibeau of Fort Fairfield running third.
    In Northern Lights B, Presque Isle’s Shawn Dewley captured the win, followed by Castle Hill’s Jason Forbes and Centerville, New Brunswick’s Justin Brymer.
    Shawn Martin of Turner took the Sitel Sportsman Series race, while Hermon’s Kris Watson and Bradley’s Dean Smart ran second and third.
    The Young Guns event saw Connor Thibeau of Fort Fairfield come out on top, with Nate Haney of Connor finishing as runner-up and Austin Theriault of Fort Kent rounding out the top three.
    Brittany Theriault of Fort Kent was first in the Powder Puff competition. Chelsea Nicholson of Centerville, New Brunswick was second, followed by Limestone’s Connie Sutherland in third position.
