Image    CARIBOU – Eddie Doucette, 79, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008, at a Caribou hospital. He was born May 1, 1929, in Stockholm the son of Joseph and Mary (Derosier) Doucette. Eddie worked in construction for many years and enjoyed his vegetable and flower gardens which he so carefully tended. He is survived by a son Steven Doucette and his wife Tammy, two daughters: Margaret Cochran and her husband Stratford, Judy Guerette and her husband Ervin all of Stockholm, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters: Rena Morin of Caribou and Shirley Vines of Sumter, SC, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Eddie was predeceased by his wife of fifty-five years Margaret (Miler) Doucette, five brothers and three sisters.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Aaron Damboise celebrant. Interment took place following the service at St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery in Stockholm.
