North Country Cruisers taking toy donations to be distributed to area organizations
The third annual Cruisin’ for Kids Toy Drive, sponsored by the North Country Cruisers, will benefit local charities again this holiday season.
All money raised is spent locally and toys are donated to organizations within the area to be distributed.
Anyone wishing to help with this cause may do so by attending the annual Houlton Light Parade at 6 p.m. on November 29. The North Country Cruisers will have a float in the parade, as well as their “Elves” walking along the route. Just bring a toy and hand it to one of the club members. Or, drop a toy off at one of the club’s boxes in the following locations: Houlton Chamber of Commerce, Dead River Company, I-95 Food Trend, York’s Books or Beal’s Variety.
People may also make a monetary donation to the cause, as the North Country Cruisers have donation jars at several local businesses. Donations may also be sent to North Country Cruisers, 106 Main St., PMB 472, Houlton, Maine 04730.
