“King and I” auditions Dec. 17-18

    PRESQUE ISLE – The Presque Isle Community Players will hold auditions for their 2009 production of “The King and I” on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 17 and 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, located on Fleetwood Street in Presque Isle. Children, teens and adults of all ages are encouraged to audition.     For your audition, you may be asked to sing a solo, so either bring sheet music of your choosing or be prepared to sing a piece that the directors provide for you.
    Rehearsals will begin Jan. 11 and will be held at 6:30 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church. Performances will be Marc 20, 21, 27 and 28 at the Presque Isle Middle School Auditorium.
