PRESQUE ISLE – On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the Board of Directors for the International Appalachian Trail will be on the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus to offer a presentation about the IAT at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Room of the Campus Center. The presentation will cover the history, geology and Maine features of the trail which runs from Mt. Katahdin in Maine, through Aroostook County, to Cap Gaspe in Quebec. The public is invited to attend this presentation to learn of the work being done to bring countries together in the creation and expansion of an international hiking trail.
