Family Night slated at Wellness and Recreation Center and Teague Park

As part of an effort to keep area residents active during the winter,  the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host a Family Night on Saturday, January 17, from 6-8:30 p.m.  This event will offer two options to parents and children.      Weather permitting, the skating rink and park will be open and offer skating, skiing and snowshoeing.   For those that haven’t noticed, Teague Park has been transformed into a winter playground with a hill for sliding, groomed ski trails that offer a variety of obstacles and a surfaced ice rink.
The second option will be some self-guided and some organized activities at the new Wellness and Recreation Center.  Participate in organized activities or walk for health and fitness, try the new Dance, Dance Revolution game, or participate in a variety of table and board games in the game room.
Park and Recreation officials wish to remind potential participants that this is a family night being offered to give families a chance to reconnect and have some fun so all youngsters must be accompanied by a parent or a certified legal guardian.
