PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle will provide an opportunity for prospective employers and students to connect as they host their annual Job & Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the University’s Campus Center.

The Fair is free and open to campus students and staff, as well as members of the community including high school juniors and seniors.
Over 30 employers from this area and downstate are expected to participate.
According to Bonnie DeVaney, director of Career Services at UMPI, “The Fair is a great opportunity for students to do some career exploration and network with employers. Students will be able to learn more about full-time and summer employment possibilities, and some employers provide the opportunity for on-site preliminary interviews.”
In addition to promoting employment opportunities, the Job and Career Fair  allows employers and businesses to promote their products and/or services in the area. There will be door prizes and many give-aways on hand.
The Job Fair is sponsored by the Senior Class, Business Program students and Career Services of the University.
