Health and Safety Instructor training set

    The Aroostook County branch of the American Red Cross-Pine Tree Chapter is offering a three-day Red Cross Instructor Training class Feb. 26, 27 and 28 in the conference room of the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.      As an American Red Cross instructor, individuals will promote the qualities of the Red Cross while serving as  role models, teaching others to become certified in CPR, first aid, and various other health and safety trainings.  
    Training is done in a manner that helps participants stay engaged in the learning process while providing corrective feedback and encouragement consistent with the critical skill performance steps. This training also provides a chance for individuals to earn a supplemental income.
    Participants will need to have a current certificate in CPR and first aid either from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
