Members from the Loring Military Heritage Museum were very busy recently, fulfilling 850 brownie a-la- mode orders and delivering the sweet treats to businesses in Limestone, Caribou, Presque Isle and at the Loring Commerce Center. The event, which saw 12 museum team members working in the same building (American Legion Post Home) as the skeptical looking KeyStone Kops, was the fourth year the group has undertaken this project. The group expected to raise an estimated $869 designated to go into the museum fund.
“We really appreciate all the support we get with this project,” said Bill Ossenfort, president of the military museum.
The Loring Military Heritage Museum will open again in May.
