The Caribou Middle School stage once again was the center of activity as the Caribou Lioness Club hosted the Miss Caribou Pageant Saturday evening. With “Lights, Camera, Action,” the theme, three young ladies displayed poise, charm and an outstanding show of talent as they graced the stage, vying for the 2009 Miss Caribou crown. From left are: Sarah-Jeanne McGlinn, first runner-up to the Miss Caribou title; Sheri Zbylut, Miss Caribou 2008, Miss Caribou 2009 Danielle Ruth Lane and Kaysie Pelletier, winner of a $100 essay contest and the contestant with the highest ticket sales. There will be more pageant photos and a complete story in next week’s edition.
